it’sa lasagna!

If you read my blog regularly, one thing you’ll realize is that my diet is not that of your typical college student. I’ve never eaten at Cane’s, (blasphemy!) I have Ramen once in a blue moon, and despite being over 21 now my alcohol intake is irregular and not particularly high. I do however, enjoy good food! Like homemade lasagna!
This is, of course, the pre-oven version. I got so excited to eat the post-oven version that I didn’t bother to take a photo. I do however have a few shots of the process! It really was a delightful Thursday afternoon. :) I was drinking some sparkling grapefruit Izze leftover from the previous evening’s Chipotle while mixing cottage cheese and spring mix…
And also of course also listening to my favorite band, Shane & Shane, on Spotify–they had a new CD–and chopping bell pepper/garlic/onion:
It’s pretty hard to avoid my roommate’s Hello Kitty toaster in this shot as well, hm? Anyway, no cooking entry would be complete without a MySpace-style shot of myself in my excellent World Market apron, holding up a cooked piece of lasagna. =p
