Admissions and enrollment
Do students have to re-apply each year that they want to attend the Academy?
No, students do not need to re-apply for admission – once they are enrolled in the Academy, they can remain in the program as long as they maintain the minimum grade requirements.
What are the minimum grade requirements to stay in the Academy?
Students must maintain a 2.5 to remain in good standing. Students between 2.0 and 2.5 will be on probation, and students who fall below a 2.0 will be dismissed from the program.
Semesters
What are the dates of the terms for the 2012-2013 school year?
Autumn semester will run from August 22 through December 12; Spring Semester will run from January 7 through April 30.
What is May Session?
May Session is a short, intensive term that will run from May 6 through May 31. May Session is officially part of the summer term. Students will not be able to participate in May Session through PSEOP Option B.
Can students enroll in summer 2012?
Summer 2012 is the first semester that will be offered at the university. Because of the switch from quarters to semesters, it will be compressed with limited course offerings. The university will not enroll new students for Summer 2012.
