Here’s something I believe: A college application should demonstrate aspirations of college level coursework. Here’s the thing, you might think my comment above is in reference to the essay. It’s not. I wish it was about the essay! The essay would at least mean I made it to the end of the application!
Finding the right college is about finding the right fit: A student needs to find schools that are good matches across all three areas when making decisions. I think all three are important, but today I want to talk about the financial fit.
My co-workers and I tend to be nice people. We spend a lot of time counseling students on the admissions process and helping them navigate Ohio State. We recently started sending out admission decisions for the autumn 2015 semester. This includes denying students admission to the Columbus campus. The time has come for us to Shut the “F” down.
