For the first time in my life, I can say I’m happy to be taking summer school. High school me would faint if I said those words. I’m only taking two classes, but with how my life is going right now I feel like I can take on the world.
Whoa it’s been a while. Blogging is back in my life once again. Sophomore year was insane. Everything from work, to school, to changing majors, to my faith life, I’m happy to say that my sophomore year has been the best, out of my first two at least. I’m not going to trouble you with [...]
Now that my time as a dorm-dweller has almost come to an end, I have decided to reflect on my experience living on-campus as a freshman. To make it easier to gather my thoughts, this post will be divided between the benefits and the pitfalls of living the dorm life.
The fact that no one in my class managed to finish the statistics midterm in the time given raises some questions…as well as some hope.
Upon waking Sunday morning, I received the very surprising news that there is no longer a Science and Engineering Library at The Ohio State University. Not officially, at least.
There’s at least 3 things every college student will encounter at some point: Fun, Stress, and Midterms. Yes, those pesky midterms always seem to find a way to rear their head into our lives unexpectedly (unless you read the syllabus of course). This week alone I had 3 to tackle.
Okay, maybe not precisely . . . I guess I’m more of a walk-on. But nevertheless, I’m in a movie!
Hey Ya’ll! So here in Taylors, SC, Venture Films (the film company attached to the Logos Theatre, where I’m interning) is preparing to shoot a short video called Flip’s Father next week! To prepare for that, us dozen interns have been assigned midterm evaluations after a kind. Meaning, we have to research and submit something [...]

Continuing the background of my story, I was under the impression that I was [...]
Okay. So can we just all acknowledge the fact that life can honestly suck when you are enrolled in Chemistry 1210?
Searching for inspiration, I noticed the tagline to our homepage. “Ohio State’s admissions web site can only tell you so much. Get the real scoop. Read about the lives of actual Ohio State Buckeyes.” Ok, you really want to know about the life of an actual Ohio State Buckeye? I got just the thing for [...]
As an intern at the Academy of Arts, not only do I get to learn everything in theater from lighting to costuming to set creation to acting to directing, but I also get to meet celebrities! And attend their concerts at the Logos Theater for free!
In my last post I promised to explain what theater seminars are with the Academy of Arts (Acad), where I am currently interning. I meant to do so within the week, but influenza and pneumonia had other ideas. However, I am finally recovering, so here is the promised explanation!
Time with the Academy of Arts has flown by! A month ago the interns were split into two teams, and a couple of weeks ago my team put on our first production: Solus.
Last week, I spent most of my time writing papers. This week, I will be spending my time studying for a final I have this Wednesday, and a midterm I have next Monday. Welcome to college. I haven’t had too much of a problem with semesters so far, but there are a few that kind [...]
