    A month later

    By Hayley | June 24, 2013

Okay it’s been exactly a month since I last posted about my life!  Lots of things are the same though.

It kind of feels like time has been standing still these past few months because I’m reliving the same day over and over again with little variation.  Play with Julia, go home and eat lunch, go to work, see friends, go to bed, wash, rinse, repeat.  Move in day is less than two months from now though and I couldn’t be more excited!

I hope all of the incoming freshmen are having fun at orientation! Try not to get too exhausted or stressed out if it isn’t what you thought it would be.  My orientation made me very very scared for my year at OSU because I didn’t feel like I fit in with the typical OSU students, but what I didn’t realize was that OSU has an extremely diverse student body and there are no “typical” students, and that my future best friends were waiting for me there.  Yours are waiting too.

My room continues to be the worst place in existence.  I guess I’m technically unpacked but my room is too full of stuff that I need to get rid of and stuff for the house I’ll be moving into that, in my opinion, cleaning it would be futile so it’s just been horribly horribly messy, much to the dismay of my mom, bless her.  My life in Westlake kind of feels the same way. I just can’t wait to return to Columbus and start my new classes and meet all of the new ski team kids!

Fortunately I have an interruption in the seemingly interminable repetition that has been this summer: vacation with my friends to the Outer Banks! We leave on Sunday and stay for a week.  I’m so excited.

Also, last thing, I watched the entirety of the HBO show Girls in about two days two weeks ago.  It is so good.  If you’re looking for something witty and heartfelt to watch, you should figure out a way to watch this show.
