Trip to German Village!

 Written by    November 23, 2016

If you have the chance to live in a residence hall at some point in your college career, do it. Look past the small living space because I believe that there are benefits of living on campus that people overlook!

A few weeks ago, for example, my residence hall was giving students the opportunity to go to German Village (which is about a 30 minute bus ride from campus) and have a fully-paid lunch at Schmidt’s courtesy of Taylor Tower! As a college student, believe me when I say that free adventures are the best adventures, and residence halls love providing students with activities fully expensed by the dorm!

My friends and I in front of Schmidt’s!

We also went to the Book Loft, (which has 32 rooms filled to the rim with books!), and other stores that sold Ohio State items!

Look how German they are!!!

I had wanted to visit German Village since I came to campus, so when given the chance by TayTow, I couldn’t resist!

If at all possible, give living in dorms a chance! You’ll meet a lot of people, get the full college experience, and it may not be so bad after all.
