Praise for Patty

 Written by    December 27, 2016

When I first found out that I was going to be living in Paterson Hall for my first year of college, I would be lying if I said that I didn’t panic. The fact that it was built in the 1950s and doesn’t have air conditioning sent me into a tailspin of fearing the worst. But then again, what freshman in college could really describe their dorm building as “cozy”?

After living there for a semester, I can honestly say that I am very happy to live in Paterson Hall and that I can’t wait to go back for another semester. Now, don’t get me wrong, there has been some crazy moments, but it is one of the places where I’ve made the most memories here at Ohio State.

Over the past few weeks, I have gotten to know the girls on my floor very well. It’s so nice that we can all really relate to each other and be there for one another in a time to need. Whether it’s to vent about the midterm you just took or just to chat about the latest Kimye drama, there is always someone on our floor ready to listen. Although it took a little bit of time to warm up to each other, I truly believe that I have made some of my closest friends on my floor. This is something that I am very grateful for and will truly cherish.

Paterson Hall has truly become my second home and I can’t wait to spend one more semester with all of the friends that I have made, making many more wonderful memories as an Ohio State Buckeye.
