Last semester’s grades got you down? Feeling unsure about your major or what you want to do for the rest of your life? Lost and insecure (you found me, you found me…sorry, I had to.) about yourself in general?
Take a breather.
You’re not alone! Lucky for you, Ohio State realizes that almost everyone goes through this, myself included. There’s tons of resources right on campus for you to use to help you find your way!
1) Set up an appointment with your advisor, stat. Just go to
advisingconnect.osu.edu to easily set a date and time that works for you! I promise he/she has some words of advice worth hearing.
2) Check out the
Younkin Success Center. There’s Career Counseling Services, tutoring, and tons of help you can get! Anything you need, they’ve got it.
3) Don’t be afraid of the
Wilce Student Health Center. Hey, if you don’t feel like the best version of yourself possible, they’ve got you covered. 36.4% of college students report symptoms of depression, and 41.6% of college kids report anxiety issues. There is ALWAYS someone you can talk to, and there is ALWAYS someone that cares. I know I do.
The main point I’m trying to make here: we’re all going through this, right now. It seems like everyone has their lives together, but we’re all in the same boat; it’ll get patched up, good as new and better than ever, before you know it.
