Hello, friends! Happy Monday!
As midterms have started to hit (hard), I just wanted to share with you all a couple of cute little pick-me-ups that I’ve stumbled upon in the past couple of weeks.
The first was for a club I’m in called “TEDx” (we organize TEDx talks on campus with Ohio State affiliated speakers). During the involvement fair, a certain someone showed up at our table, and we asked him to write on our whiteboard the name of a person who inspires him.
The second two are posters I stumbled across when I was cutting through Hayes trying to avoid the cold and save time. (Spoiler: I didn’t actually save any time.) One poster had people’s semester goals, and other had things people were thankful for. I’ve seen a lot like these, but these ones especially got me chuckling.
My favorites: “Defeat the fascists,” “To play more Shrek,” and “Try not to suck” with an arrow pointing to it saying “Immediately after writing this I spilled coffee all over myself.”
My favorites: “Mom,” “Kanye 2020,” and “The Bench Behind You.”
A challenge I have for you now: think of one thing you are grateful for today. I, for one, am grateful for the cottage cheese cups that my sister, who is a senior and has a car, buys me. I don’t know what I’m going to do without my cottage cheese–I mean, my sister–next year.
Lastly, this is something I saw in the Denney basement that I thought was cool. Also, the handwriting is very pretty.
So as midterms rear their ugly head, make sure to take some time to remember all the exciting parts of being on campus. (Read: Remember why midterm weeks on campus are still better than most weeks in high school.)
