Moneythink OSU

 Written by    February 16, 2017

There are so many wonderful clubs here at Ohio State I find it difficult to decide which ones I want to join. That being said, when I hear about one that sparks my interest I try to give it a shot. This was the case with Moneythink. My roommate/BFF told me about this organization that goes to underprivileged schools and neighborhoods to teach students financial literacy. In many ways this is right up my alley. I love finance and I truly believe in community service.

In high school I felt that basic financial skills were under taught. Thus, I am glad to be a part of fixing that problem. Last Friday I had the pleasure of going to Columbus North High School. I talked to an AP US History class about the importance of interview skills. It was very productive and we definitely both benefited from the experience. If you feel this club may be for you, look into joining next semester.
