Buckeyes vs. TTUN— Men’s Hockey

 Written by    February 1, 2018

One of my absolute favorite things about Ohio State is the sports.

When I was deciding between colleges, sports were not a huge factor for me. But now having experienced Big 10 sports, I could never go back.

Maybe I have more school spirit than I thought or maybe I’m just really competitive (probably the latter). Or maybe I just really love sports and being a Buckeye.

The best part is that every sporting event is free (except for football and men’s basketball, which are well worth the cost). If you want to get your tuition’s worth, you’ll go to every sporting event.

Saturday night I went to men’s hockey against TTUN, which was so much fun. Friday we beat Xichigan 4-0 and Saturday 5-3. GO BUCKS!

Even though the men had played on Friday night, the Schott was packed again on Saturday. It’s the absolute best atmosphere— tons of students and other fans cheering on their favorite team.

There’s so much hype, competition, athleticism and tradition. It’s hard to describe; you just have to go.

So far I’ve been to men’s volleyball, women’s basketball, men’s hockey, swimming and (obviously) football. I can’t wait for lacrosse season and am so excited to go to many more sporting events. Go Bucks!!!
