My school is beautiful: An appreciation post

 Written by    May 16, 2018

One of the things I’m absolutely passionate about is photography. This year, I’ve loved being able to walk to dozens of gorgeous shooting places, whether that be buildings, natural scenery, or just generally aesthetically-pleasing backgrounds. I know lots of students factor in “location and look” to their college choice, and I have a feeling that big city schools don’t get the appreciation they deserve. In high school, I never thought of OSU as a “pretty” college, but now I know that can be chalked up to the fact that I’d never been here.

I thought I’d share some of my favorite pictures of places on campus here. Keep in mind, I haven’t even gotten to shoot half the locations I wanted to, and that’s just of the places I know about! So here is Ohio State, my school, and some of the beauty I found there.

University Hall

Thompson Library

Hayes Hall

Sullivant Hall

18th Ave Library

Ohio Stadium rotunda and sculpture

Campbell Hall

The Numbers Garden

Koffolt Labs

The RPAC

The Oval (from the top of Thompson)

I wish this single post could cover more than a mere 1% of all the beautiful stuff at OSU, but I have yet to bring my camera everywhere, and I still have a lot of hidden gems to find. For now, this’ll have to do.
