Besides living in Oxford for five weeks, we had the opportunity to travel around every weekend since there were no classes on weekends. Some friends and I went to Wales, Scotland, and Ireland. Here are some great photos from our travels in England outside of Oxford, and some from our weekend in Cardiff, Wales.
The Oxford Pre-Law group at Windsor Castle in good English weather (i.e. the rain)!
These guards aren’t just at Buckingham Palace–they’re at Windsor Castle too!
A view of Big Ben from across the street at Westminster Abbey.
A view of Cardiff Bay. Cardiff was just a beautiful city!
Two friends and I on some rocks overlooking Cardiff Bay.
In every capital city in the UK, there was a giant set of Olympic rings. Here were the ones in Cardiff. (Our faces are hilarious.)
