Project 80: Waking Up
By Michael | September 23, 2012
More than half the time I wake up, I don’t want to wake up. I’m laying there comfortable, and unmotivated to get up.
But there are things that need to get done, and when you start thinking about all the homework you have, or that 8 am class that’s starting in half an hour, you’re even more likely to stay in bed.
An easy way to get up and out of bed every morning is to focus on one thing, one simple little thing: turning the lights on, turning on that coffee pot, or simply standing up. Once that’s accomplished you can move on to another thing like a shower. Just a suggestion.
Waking up will be easier if you focus on waking up for a simple thing instead of the entire day.
*Project 80 is a project I’m doing that limits posts to 80 or so words. I’ll be posting one Project 80 per week.*
