It’s November, in case you hadn’t noticed yet, which means it’s time for everyone’s favorite holiday. Before you start thinking that I am speaking about Thanksgiving, or even Christmas (don’t get me started on beginning Christmas in November), I am talking about the real festivities. A holiday so spectacular that it deserves a whole month, not just a single day. It goes by many names: Movember, Noshember, or as I simply like to call it, No-Shave-November
For those select few who are new to this concept, let me give you a brief explanation. Every November, men and women from around the world gather together to lock up their razors and let nature take it’s course. Designed as a charity project to raise awareness for men’s health, specifically testicular and prostate cancer, this celebration of scurfification has raised almost 300 million dollars towards the cause. For more information, see their website at movember.com.
I’m going to be honest with you, I’m actually not a fan of this holiday. The main reason for this is probably because of the lack of facial hair I can grow. Every time I look in the mirror it reminds me how I am inadequate in that department. Nevertheless I was coerced into participating by my staff and peer pressure got the better of me. Now while this was my expectation (yes, my expectation was to be Ryan Gosling):
it hasn’t exactly been turning out that way. The truly unfortunate part (and the reason I feel a blog is necessary) is that tomorrow we will be taking new pictures for the blogging website. So instead of this terrible picture of me:
you all will see an every more trashy picture! I just want to warn everyone ahead of time that I usually do try and take care of myself and the pictures in my bio in no way represent how I look on a daily basis. I’m just going to have to hope that my male counterparts on the blogging team are also supporters of the sacred tradition and won’t make me look any more foolish than I already do.

I just remembered that we’re taking pictures tomorrow. And I was heavily considering shaving but thanks to this post I’ll think about keeping what little hair I have.
