Today is the day for empowerment in the form of New Year’s Resolutions! Next week is when you’ll probably forget about all of them.
We’re all familiar with the ever-daunting ritual of New Year’s Resolutions. Here is a list of the Top 5 Resolutions on everyone’s mind in 2013:
1. Eat healthy and exercise
2. Save Money
(But those shoes JUST went on sale and they’re so pretty and you just have to have them!)
3. Get organized
(You can try to resist but there is some weird magnet that drags everything down there anyway)
4. Read more
(Actually, we should all do this one. I don’t have an excuse for you here)
5. Travel more
(Oh right, money)
Here’s a popular one that I personally enjoy (but never thought of because I’m a vanilla Type-A personality): Have more fun. That’s a pretty great idea if I’ve ever heard one. Let us all embrace more FUN in our lives in 2013. We didn’t perish on 12/21/12 with the end of the Mayan calendar so it’s all looking up from here!
Happy New Year to all of you out there and savor this new-found motivation until is dissipates in about two weeks when you realize that you truly and passionately love powdered donuts and that it’s way more fun to watch TV than to battle the treadmill.
