Back to Old Columbus Town!

 Written by    January 7, 2013

I have spent my break at home in Illinois, and I have loved every minute of it. I have been baking, eating, watching movies, going to Chicago, and hanging out with friends (I would like to take this opportunity to point out that one of high school classmates thought I went to school in Iowa, not Ohio… too many confusing vowels for them?).

Catching up with my friends and family (and How I Met Your Mother) has been great for the past three weeks. This was the first time I have been home since August, so it was a nice break from school. However, break can’t last forever, which I was reminded of when I began receiving emails about required textbooks and class schedules.

Break flew by and we have class on Monday, but I’m looking forward to all the new experiences a new semester will bring with it! Now how to fit all my Christmas gifts into one suitcase for the flight back…

Final Fun Fact: It is inevitable that when I tell someone I go to The Ohio State University, they comment on the “The,” bowl games, or TBDBITL that they saw on YouTube once. I then give a speech about how much more there is to being a Buckeye and how much I love my school.

Grandma went a little overboard with the matching shirts this year.

My friends and I in Chicago just before Christmas.
