Can I schedule an in-person visit to campus?

What do I need to know about virtual learning?

You can expect that autumn semester will include virtual learning technologies and opportunities. Get tips about what to expect and how you can prepare now.

Is orientation being held in person this summer?

The delivery mode for summer orientation programs is still being determined. Beginning in late March, orientation information is sent to your BuckeyeMail account upon payment of the acceptance fee.

Are housing assignments still being made?

Yes, beginning in mid-March, housing information is sent weekly to students upon payment of the acceptance fee. Check your BuckeyeMail account for information about your contract.

My family’s financial situation has changed since I filed my FAFSA. Who can I contact?

Reach out to buckeyelink@osu.edu to discuss your financial circumstances and the options that might be available.

Will Ohio State receive my final high school transcript or college transcript?

We will begin requesting those transcripts in mid-May and encouraging students to have them submitted by early July. Sending the final transcript electronically from your school, either through the Common Application or other electronic delivery service, is recommended.

Students who have taken College Credit Plus or dual enrollment college-level courses should request official transcripts be sent to Ohio State as soon as final grades are posted (this is not required for course work completed at Ohio State).

Will Ohio State still award AP credit?

Ohio State will continue to grant college credit under the university’s AP guidelines for scores 3, 4 and 5, recognizing the circumstances under which students will be testing this year. Remember to have your scores sent to Ohio State using code #1592.

Will Ohio State still award credit for IB diplomas and certificates?

Ohio State will continue to award credit according to the university’s IB guidelines, provided students send their transcript of the IB diploma or IB certificate.

Is there still time to apply for autumn semester as a transfer student?

Yes, the application deadline for transfer students applying for autumn semester is May 1, 2021. Review the application requirements.

Will I still receive a transfer credit evaluation after I am admitted?

Ohio State continues to evaluate transfer credit for admitted transfer students, typically within a week of the notice of admission. Go to buckeyelink.osu.edu and search transfer to run your transfer credit report. Questions can be directed to askabuckeye@osu.edu.
