Dennis Learning Center Whether you’re struggling with a class or want to improve your skills in studying, time management, or test taking, the learning center can provide you with strategies for academic success.
Mathematics and Statistics Learning Center Master math and statistics! MSLC offers tutoring on a walk-in basis, practice exams and content reviews, quiet study rooms, and online resources.
Office of Diversity and Inclusion ODI offers a wide range of services and opportunities to Ohio State’s African American, Appalachian, Asian American, Pacific Island, Native American, and Hispanic American communities. Support includes academic advising, tutoring, personal counseling, financial assistance, social events, and leadership programs.

University Libraries In addition to its nationally recognized collection, University Libraries offers services like IM-a-Librarian and the Buckeye Bar (located in Thompson Library), where students can get one-on-one tech support.
Younkin Success Center Younkin houses a variety of university offices that provide student services such as tutoring and academic skill building and career and personal counseling. Also available at the center: study space, Internet access, and a media resources library.
Career exploration and preparation
Academic advising and career services offices Every student at Ohio State has an academic advisor to help with selecting classes and planning a program of study. These full-time professional advisors – and their counterparts in college career services offices – are also dedicated to helping you plan for internships and careers.
Career Connection Career Connection’s experts are here to discuss majors, internships, careers options, and more. The office offers individual and group career counseling, workshops, and career self-assessments.
Commuter and off-campus resources
Commuter Services Off-Campus and Commuter Student Engagement, located in Ohio Union, has created a “home base” for students who commute. Resources include access to a kitchen; Commuter Pre-View Day, which orients new commuters to campus and useful services; the Commuter Student Organization, which advocates for the needs of commuters; and Connection, the commuter student newsletter.
Neighborhood Services and Collaboration Neighborhood Services and Collaboration provides information, referrals, and housing lists for students who live off campus.
Counseling and wellness
Counseling and Consultation Service Talk to a counselor – confidentially – about personal or academic concerns, and learn to overcome problems and manage stress more effectively. Individual and group sessions are offered.
Student Wellness Center
Student Wellness Center provides resources and workshops on a wide range of wellness topics – from finances and nutrition to stress management and body image health.
Disability services
Office for Disability Services ODS provides services and programs to students with documented disabilities. Prospective students are encouraged to contact ODS in the early stages of their college planning to learn about the many pre-admission services available.
First Year Experience
First Year Experience Ohio State places special emphasis on each student’s first year on campus. Through research and our own experience, we know that foundations built during this year are key to your success. Planning for college

Frank W. Hale, Jr., Black Cultural Center The Hale Center develops and maintains supportive programs and activities for the development and advancement of all students -- particularly African American students. Features of the center include classroom and study space, two computer labs, an exceptional art collection, and meeting space for student and community organizations.
Multicultural Center The goal of the Multicultural Center is to create a community environment that recognizes cultural differences, respects cultural uniqueness, and facilitates cross-cultural interaction, learning, and appreciation. The center hosts cultural community celebrations, heritage and awareness months, and more.

Bell National Resource Center on the African American Male The research and programs of the Bell Resource Center (BRC) are aimed at increasing the retention and graduation rates of African American men. The BRC strives to create a sense of community and connectedness through retreats, workshops, and college transition programs like the Early Arrival Program for incoming students.
The Women’s Place The Women’s Place sponsors campus-wide initiatives that advocate for a positive university climate where women can thrive. TWP’s website serves as a clearinghouse for information for women on campus.
Office of Military and Veterans Services Ohio State is committed to cultivating a positive campus and community experience for veteran and military students.
